Free WhatsApp API pricing calculator.

Answer five questions about your leads. No jargon, and nothing you need to look up in a dashboard first.

Follow-ups only go to the people who stayed quiet. Someone who replies costs you nothing more.

What are you sending them?

Meta charges very differently for these. You pick one when you submit the message, then Meta reads it and decides for itself. Why that matters.

Where did these numbers come from?

Wrong numbers and people not on WhatsApp never arrive, and Meta does not charge for a message that did not land.

out of 10

2 out of 10 is normal for a first message from an ad. A reply makes the next 24 hours free, so this is the number worth fighting for.

India rate card, July 2026. Marketing rose from ₹0.7846 on 1 January 2026. Meta publishes rates per market and category and tiers marketing by volume, so treat this as a planning figure and check your own invoice.

How this is worked out

Meta charges you per message delivered, not per message sent and not per conversation. So the first thing this does is drop the messages that never landed, because a number that is wrong or not on WhatsApp costs you nothing.

Then it follows your leads round by round. Everyone gets a first message. Only the people who stayed quiet get a follow-up, and the round after that only the ones still quiet, which is how follow-up actually works and why the bill grows the way it does.

On top of Meta's charge sits your provider's cut, your monthly software fee, and 18% GST on all of it.

The number that actually matters

Cost per message is the wrong unit. A reply opens a 24-hour window where everything you send is free, and it also cancels every follow-up that lead would have needed. One reply saves you twice.

That is why cost per conversation started is the figure to push on. Going from 2 replies in 10 to 4 does not just halve the cost of a conversation, it shrinks the whole bill, because half the follow-ups never have to be sent. No provider discount comes close.

What a provider's cut actually is

Meta does not hand most businesses a dashboard, so an industry of authorised resellers grew around the API. In India that means AiSensy, Wati, Interakt, Gupshup, MSG91 and others. They charge a monthly fee for their software, and most of them also take a percentage of every message on top of Meta's rate.

Kredoo does not work that way. You connect your own WhatsApp number, Meta bills you directly, and there is no per-message cut. Switch the provider question above and the calculator will show you what a 15% cut costs over a year.

What this does not model

  • Volume discounts. Meta tiers marketing rates by monthly delivered volume, so a very large sender pays less per message than the flat rate here.
  • Free entry points. Someone who reaches you from a Click to WhatsApp ad or a Facebook Page button gives you 72 free hours, both directions, whatever you send.
  • Sending limits. A brand new number can only start 250 conversations a day, so the volume you type may not be available to you yet. How the limits work.

Or stop paying for messages that never land

Kredoo captures leads from Meta and Google Ads, sends one message built to earn a reply, then keeps the conversation inside the free window.
